PARENT COACHES: As a community organization CSA relies on parent coaches to run our programs please consider volunteering to be a part of your child's experience in the game. We will provide you with everything you need to be successful, you just need to bring energy and be positive. We have create a program to make your introduction to the game as simple as possible that includes a curriculum and regular guidance from the program director. For young players the thing they need most is encouragement and a safe place to play. If you are experienced, in the game even better, we will take advantage your knowledge and ability. This can be a great time for parent's and players to connect together through the game. This year due to COVID-19 Coaches will be asked to follow guidelines to limit risk and exposure to everyone involved in our programs.

FIELD SAFTY MONITORS: This is a new role that will be need this season to help manage check in protocol at the field due to COVID-19. Please consider volunteering. Also programing has been adjusted due to COVID-19 so please read through updates to each program. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to [email protected]

BACKGROUND CHECKS: Centre Soccer Coaches will all need to go through background checks to coach with Centre Soccer.  All paperwork must be submitted to PA West before reimbursement or fees will be waived.

EQUIPMENT PICK UP: This Fall with COVID-19 we will be limiting everyone's exposure so equipment will be at the fields for coaches to use. Program directors will pull equipment out for each coach before training and make sure it has been cleaned. We ask that before returning equipment to the sheds at the field that coaches clean the equipment. Please only have coaches handling moving the equipment during training.

CLEAT SWAP:  Stay tuned!!!

Playing Up: Centre Soccer recognizes that player development is best advanced by allowing players to compete at the highest possible level appropriate to the player's ability, even if it means playing up an age. CSA also recognizes that players may be best served by playing with their classmates. Parents can request that players play up or coaches may recommend that players play up.
